About Covered Bridge
Covered Bridge is a free guide to burying ashes around South Bend and Mishawaka, Indiana.
We look up what each cemetery around here allows and charges for burying ashes, and write it down with the date and where it came from: the cemetery's price list, its website, or a call to its office. When we haven't checked something yet, the page says so and gives you the phone number.
How we check facts
Rules and prices change. Each page shows the date we last checked it, and we only change that date when we check again. Answers we got over the phone are written as what the office told us on that day.
Found something out of date? Tell us in the box at the bottom of any page and we'll check it again.

Privacy
To learn which answers help, we count page visits and a few taps (searching for a cemetery, checking an urn size, tapping a phone number or a vault link). We record the page, the tap and the kind of device, not your name or IP address. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site (clicks, scrolling). Typed text is hidden. If you paste a store link, we open that page once to read the urn's size and keep only the store's name, not the link. Questions you send us have no name or email attached. We don't use ad trackers and don't sell or share any of this. Vault links go to Amazon, where Amazon's privacy policy applies.
